BitBeaver
PLANNED

The same open core. Run for you, extended for you.

BitBeaver's commercial offering is planned to run on the very same open-source core: a hosted cloud, single sign-on with your company accounts, paid apps and support you can contract. One code path, never a fork: you will be able to inspect the core it runs on.

Three layers: the open-source core at the bottom, the enterprise layer hovering above it, and on top the software of many organisations, one block highlighted as your software.
What gets in the way today

Problems it is meant to solve.

Organisations build their own tools with AI and still have to know what runs, who may do what, and where the data lives.

  1. AI builds fast, and your organisation still has to know what runs.

BitBeaver records each app's origin, lets in only signed and checked app packages, and lets nobody pass on more than they hold. BuiltAI agents never get more rights than the person they act for. Decided

  2. Every tool rebuilds the same setup.

Sign-in, permissions, storage, audit and separation come with the platform; your people or your agents build only what is specific to you. BuiltMore services Planned

  3. Separation has to be explainable.

The database enforces the wall between organisations, and every governed action, including every refusal, is recorded. BuiltProof on a fresh install Planned

  4. Run it yourself, or have it run for you.

Some organisations want everything on their own servers, with nothing sent out. Others never want to run a server. The same design is meant to work for both, and to move between them. Decided

What becomes possible

Faster and cheaper still, on the same rules.

The commercial offering is meant to make building faster and cheaper still: AI-assisted building, a template library and ready-made apps. These are design aims, not measured results.

Run it without running a server

BitBeaver Cloud: your own walled-off organisation, hosted and run for you.

Planned

Move between your server and the cloud

A design composed on the free core is meant to move into the cloud, or any other installation.

Decided

See what you pay for

A plan with included capacity plus usage, costs per app and your own ceiling. Designed so your data is never held hostage.

Decided

Your company login

Designed so staff sign in with their existing company accounts (SAML) and their accounts follow your company directory (SCIM). A shared team that works for several of your organisations signs in once. Also for your own servers.

Decided

Build with AI, as a service

AI-assisted building around your composition and a template library. Composing and the standard editor stay free.

Decided

Reuse instead of rebuild

A planned app marketplace where developers can offer their apps to others and earn a share.

Decided
Side by side

Open source and commercial.

Everything that makes the core useful and safe on its own is meant to stay free. The commercial offering is planned to add what organisations need as they grow: company sign-in, hosting, ready-made apps, AI-assisted building and support.
